Will the average cost of gas in the US decrease in November 2026 compared to October 2026?

Resolution criteria: - "Yes": Wins if the average of all EIA weekly U.S. regular gasoline retail prices (dollars per gallon, all formulations) whose survey dates fall strictly after 2026-11-01T07:00:00Z and at or before 2026-12-01T08:00:00Z (November 2026) is strictly lower than the average of all EIA weekly U.S. regular gasoline retail prices whose survey dates fall strictly after 2026-10-01T00:00:00Z and at or before 2026-11-01T07:00:00Z (October 2026). - "No": Wins if the November 2026 monthly average is equal to or higher than the October 2026 monthly average, as defined above. Clarifications: - The shared quantity is the EIA's weekly U.S. regular gasoline retail price (all formulations, dollars per gallon, including taxes), published each Monday in the Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Update. Each month's average is computed from all weekly readings whose survey dates fall within that calendar month's window defined above. Weeks that straddle a month boundary are assigned to the month in which their survey date falls.
